Our Privacy Commitment

Data minimization. We aim to process only the information necessary to provide the features you choose to use. WiFi Mouse does not require you to create an account to use its core functionality.

No independent user profiling. Necta does not operate its own advertising profiling or third-party analytics system to track users across applications or websites. However, Google advertising services may process certain information as described below.

Information We Process

Information you provide. WiFi Mouse does not require personal details such as your real name, email address, or phone number to provide its core remote-control functionality. Certain optional features may require information that you choose to provide.

Remote Control ID. If you use Remote Control, you may voluntarily enter an ID of your choice. The application hashes this ID on your device before sending it to our Remote Control service. The original ID is not sent to that service.

The resulting hash is used as a pseudonymous identifier solely to identify and match the intended computer with the mobile device requesting remote control. It is held temporarily in the service's runtime memory and is not written to a persistent user database by the Remote Control service.

Local Network Communication

WiFi Mouse primarily communicates directly between your mobile device and computer over your local network. Commands and related communication data are exchanged between your devices to provide remote-control functionality.

Local network communication does not require us to store the contents of your remote-control commands in a cloud database.

Remote Control Service

Purpose. Our Remote Control service processes the client-generated hash of your chosen ID to help match the intended computer and mobile device. The hash is not used by Necta for advertising, analytics, or user profiling.

Memory and retention. The hash is held in the service's runtime memory while the service is running. It is not stored in a persistent database by the Remote Control service. In-memory data is cleared when the service process restarts. It may therefore remain in memory after a device disconnects until the service restarts.

Network logs. The Remote Control service does not intentionally record IP addresses or connection logs.

Advertising and Google Services

WiFi Mouse may display advertisements provided by Google advertising services, including Google AdMob. These services help support the continued development and distribution of WiFi Mouse.

Information processed by Google. When advertisements are displayed, Google's advertising SDKs and services may automatically collect or process certain information, depending on the platform, SDK version, advertising settings, and applicable consent choices. This information may include:

• IP address and general location information inferred from it.
• Device identifiers, such as advertising identifiers.
• Advertising data and information about advertisements displayed.
• Interactions with advertisements, such as views and clicks.
• Diagnostic and performance information related to the application and advertising SDK.

Purpose. Google may process this information to deliver advertisements, measure advertising performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve its advertising services. Depending on your device settings and applicable consent choices, advertisements may be personalized or non-personalized.

Third-party privacy practices. Google's collection, use, and processing of information are governed by Google's own privacy policies and terms. Necta does not control Google's independent data processing practices.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Necta does not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

Information may be processed by Google advertising services as described in the Advertising and Google Services section of this policy.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal requests, protect someone from serious harm, prevent fraud or abuse, or protect our rights and property.

Data Security and Retention

We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by WiFi Mouse. Client-side hashing of Remote Control IDs helps avoid transmitting the original ID to our Remote Control service.

No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should choose an ID that does not reveal sensitive personal information.

Remote Control hashes are retained only in the service's runtime memory and are cleared when the service process restarts. We do not maintain a persistent user database for these identifiers.

Information processed by Google for advertising is subject to Google's applicable retention and privacy practices.

Your Choices

Remote Control is an optional feature. You can choose not to use it or stop providing your Remote Control ID.

You may also be able to manage advertising personalization and advertising identifiers through your device or Google account settings, depending on your platform and region.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our software, services, advertising integrations, or applicable legal requirements.
